And here they are, those that climbed the ranks through the gyms, managed to defeat the Elite, and beat the champion himself!

Miss going to South, but still want a taste of that sweet PAX Pokemon action? We have not one, but TWO youtubers sharing their PAX Pokemon adventures!
First is the return of Abdallah! Remember his fantastic videos from last East? He returns again with action that will not disappoint!
And then we’d like to introduce you to our South Champ, MrAGeezie!
Follow his battles and see what it takes to represent the PAX Pokemon League as a Champion!
Did *you* have a particularly exciting battle with a PAX Pokemon Gym Leader? Please tell us about it!
Love is in the air with today’s move:
This move makes an opponent of the opposite gender infatuated with the user, possibly preventing them from acting.
If you know today’s move, present a pokemon that knows it to Elite Four Members Sorrel or Darren. They can be found around PAX, or at the Handheld Lounge Meetups at 3pm and 6pm.
Handheld Lounge meetup times for PPL South are as Follows:
Friday – 3pm & 6pm
Saturday – 3pm & 6pm
Sunday – 3pm
On Sunday, at 6:31 PM after PAX officially closes, come to the lobby of the Grand Hyatt (right next to the convention center!) for the
Gym leaders, Elite Four, and Challengers will mingle and battle! Maybe pick up a few of the badges you missed, get to know your fellow Pokemaniacs, and just generally have a good time! Plus, challengers who beat the Champion can come here to show off the teams that brought them to the Hall of Fame!
Propriety here, with some bad news, trainers: Hiker Bill was skiing in the mountains (no we are not kidding, he is truly committed to the outdoor life of a hiker!) and he dislocated his kneecap, chipping a bone in his knee. He’s had to have surgery, and unfortunately he is unable to make the hike out to PAX South. 🙁 We will miss him and wish him a speedy recovery.
All is not lost, however! Hiker Bill has entrusted his badges to Elite Four Member Darren and Elite Four Member Sorrel, who have concocted a plan. Ask them for details on how to show you’re worthy of the Beard Badge!
Also, remember that there are bonus badge opportunities to help you collect your eight badges!
Remember, the Pokemon League challenge is often full of challenges and surprises, but the important thing is to have fun! Good luck, trainers!
To help challengers on their way to the Elite Four, PPL South is offering extra badges for other activities in addition to battling Gym Leaders.
First up, help spread the word about the PPL at PAX South and earn yourself the Network Badge! Challengers just need to take a picture of themselves holding their Trainer Card and upload it to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any other social media network with the hashtags #PAXSouth and #PAXPokemon to receive the Network Badge!
Our second bonus badge is the Technical Badge! Each day of PAX, we’ll be posting a special clue describing a pokemon move taught by a Technical Machine here on PAXPokemonLeague.net. Figure out which move it is and present a pokemon that knows that day’s move to receive the Technical Badge!
We interrupt your Prime updates to post a notice that applications for PPL South are officially closed! Thank you to everyone who applied; the response was wonderful! We’ve reviewed applications and sent out decision emails! Check your inboxes!
What’s that kicking up dust in the distance??? It’s a new PPL!!! PPL is expanding YET AGAIN to PAX South!!!
If you’re interested in being a PPL gym leader at PAX South, visit the PPL forums to find out how to submit an application! Note that we’re only going to do a PPL at South if enough gym leaders are interested… so this is your chance to have a really big impact on a new member of the PPL (and PAX) family!
