Claire, the Pale Phantom, Charlie Kelly, The Wild Card and Trashman, the Trash Lord all come crashing into fray!

Claire, the Pale Phantom

Before becoming a trainer, Claire dwelled in her manor with her friends. With nothing to do, Claire decided that she would set off on her own Pokemon journey—on the condition from her butler that she take her stuffed Bewear with her. At first, the journey was difficult because only strong trainers were able to notice her presense. However, she was always able to win with the support of a powerful unknown force. Now wanting to face other capable trainers, she decided to join the PAX Pokemon League as a leader. Claire mainly uses ghost types. Black her out with dark moves to win. Defeat Claire and gain the Omen badge!

Charlie Kelly, The Wild Card

Charlie’s team is a wild card! Expect something tricky so it doesn’t surprise you! Defeat him to obtain the Milksteak Badge!

Trashman, the Trash Lord

Trashman is the lord of all trash. Beware of the garbage that litters the trash when you proceed to fight him, because his tactics involve throwing garbage all over the battlefield. Some say that surrounding himself with garbage and using only the most trashtastic Pokemon this side of the landfill imbues him with the strength of one thousand dump trucks. Should any challenger dare enter his trash lair in an attempt to outtrash Trashman, beware, for there is only one known way to outtrash Trashman the Trash Lord. Take out the trash and earn the Trash Badge!

Rudolf, the Sheer Cold Ice Trainer and Professor Switch, the Downunder Delinquent make an entrance!

Rudolf, the Sheer Cold Ice Trainer

Rudolf hails from a remote, wintery region of the Pokemon world. Growing up around Ice types, they’ve always been his favorite to battle with! However, upon setting out on his Pokemon journey, Rudolf was quickly made aware of the cold truths of being an Ice-type trainer: his opponents would often lash out at his team with powerful super effective attacks making every battle a challenge. Instead of turning away from his friends though, Rudolf opted to continue on with an icy resolve. He aimed to become the best Ice-type trainer! Looking to further tap into the hidden power of Ice-type Pokemon, Rudolf joined the PAX Pokemon League. Weather Rudolf’s storm and earn the Snowflake Badge!

Professor Switch, the Downunder Delinquent

After PAX Aus 2017, our intrepid wandering Professor Switch set sail for his home in Kanto. As a good pokemon professor, Switch took his rickety floating bar-fridge of a sailing boat on a coastal tour of the Australian continent. Battling his way up the eastern coast of Australia, Switch made a name for himself in the most brutal Pokemon pit-fighting rings. One stormy evening, Switch found himself sheltering from near hurricane level conditions in an island bay off the coast of Queensland, Australia. Little did he know this island was known as Magnetic Island, home to a colony of feisty Magnezone. When the storm passed, Switch set sail over the Pacific Ocean for home. Near death after weeks at sea, our hero was rescued by a coastguard vessel out of Seattle…just in time to join the fracas at PAX West and learn how American poke-warriors battle.
Fight Switch with all your might, and earn the right to wear the Fatal Fury badge.

Samson Oak, the Pokemon Professor

Hello there! Welcome to the world of pokémon! My name is Samson Oak! I have been hard at work studying unique Pokemon only found in the Alola region known as Totem Pokemon. These Pokemon are much larger than usual and exhibit a powerful aura when fought. For years, Trial Captains in Alola have been using these Pokemon to test young trainers in what is known as the Island Challenge. Would you like to help me on my research? The only way to truly see what these larger than life Pokemon are capable of is to see them in battle! Win and I’ll even reward you with a Totem Badge!

Avi, The Iron Fist of Ferrum

Hailing from Neos City, Avi has fought fiercely in battles across the Ferrum region and is recognized as a Master in the Ferrum League. Ferrum scientists have recently developed a portable Synergy Stone, capable of giving anyone the ability to bond with their Pokémon and battle head-to-head in the traditional Ferrum fashion. As a way of showing off the technology and testing its limits, Avi has been chosen as an ambassador to the PAX Pokémon League to share this new way of battling with everyone willing to take him and his trusty Pokémon partners on. Though it’s a whole new kind of battle, if you keep your wits about you, you should be able to take Avi on with no problem. And if you’re totally new, I’m sure he’ll be accommodating and give you a few pointers! Prove your worth in the way of Pokkén and earn yourself the Ferrum badge!
