Kenny was always more of a book worm than a Pokémon trainer. He spent his youth in the Hoenn Region learning about the world and nothing interested him more than the weather. As an adult, he now spends his time researching weather phenomena at the Weather Institute with his partner, Castform. While planning for his yearly vacation, word got to him about PAX Unplugged and a mock Pokémon League based on the popular trading card game. As an avid TCG fan, this piqued his interest.
