During his childhood in Ecruteak city, Akira became obsessed with monster movies. This obsession led to Akira exploring the globe with his trusty Tyranitar in search of powerful Kaiju like Pokemon. During his travels Akira heard rumours of Pokemon that grew to giant proportions in battle and the rumours all seemed to lead to the Galar region. It was there with this power that Akira decided to put his strength to use, and to become a sign of power as an Elite 6 member at the PAX Pokemon league.
