As a child, Patrick saw a group of kids picking on a little Jigglypuff. He immediately stepped in to stop the bullies, but was unable to do anything. Inspired by his selfless act, the ‘puff fought back and knocked out the bullies! Ever since then, he has dedicated his life to protecting and empowering all pink Pokémon. When he heard tales of a great gathering of Pokémon trainers in Boston, he knew this was his opportunity to prove that these plushy pink puffs won’t be pushed around!

Don’t be lured into a false sense of safety because of his pink and cuddly line up. If you can defeat this pack of pink Pokémon, you’ll earn yourself the Pink Badge.

Kinchō is a mysterious figure. She claims to have emerged from her hermited life in the mountains of Sinnoh to request a place as gym leader in the PAX Pokémon League. She boasts an archaic family line of Pokémon battlers, and has come to stake a claim of honor for herself. What she seems to delight in most, however, is baffling and tricking her challengers. Kinchō prefers traditional Japanese wear, as well as concealing her face with a Noh-like mask. Can you rise to the challenge to earn the Yagyo Badge?

The only child of a wealthy family, Greta was taught from an early age to be prim and proper. Her days were filled with private teachings, finishing school, and lessons of etiquette. With little time for friends, she took solace in the companionship of her Pokémon.

One fateful day, while Greta and her family visited Saffron City, she became lost in the crowd. Alone and frightened, she ran through the streets with panicked tears in her eyes. That was when She came: beautiful, with confident grace, She washed Greta’s tears away and guided her through the city. When they finally found her family, She told Greta that a lady should be both beautiful and strong; words that she would remember all her life.

When Greta returned home she resolved to become a Pokémon trainer and prove her strength to herself and the world. Now, years later, she has become the leader of her own gym where she teaches others to be graceful, calm, proper and strong. Can you find the strength of heart  to earn the Merit Badge?

Isaac Adler had two passions growing up: the widely-unknown sport of golf and the wildly popular sport of Pokémon Battling. His golf coaches in Ecrutreak City, however, forbade young Isaac from training Pokémon and made him focus on his golf game. At the age of 20, Isaac became a legend–winning 20 consecutive major tour tournaments–before hearing that Pokémon had found yet another way to evolve in far-off Kalos. Realizing it was never too late to change, Isaac (and his Espeon, Karis) took a leave of absence from the IPGA and decided to set out to catch and raise a team of Pokémon of his very own. With several large tournament wins behind him, and looking to take his team’s journey to the next level, Isaac joined the PAX Pokémon League as a Gym Leader. Isaac brings the laser-like focus and resourcefulness he learned on the links to the PPL. Prove you have what it takes to conquer the treachery of his team and come in under-par to earn the Birdie Badge!

After being the esteemed leader of the Mahogany Town gym for many years, Pryce finally decided to retire. This proved to be a poor decision, as the vigorous old man quickly grew bored with the soft ways of retired life. Pryce decided to pack his bags and hit the road. Eventually his wanderings led him to the PAX Pokémon League, where he discovered many tough trainers gathering to prove themselves. With his interest piqued, Pryce joined the league to demonstrate to these young trainers the power of cold. Winter is coming; if you manage to beat back winter’s chill the Glacier Badge shall be yours!

As a child, Aisling would sit on the docks of Olivine City, listening excitedly to sailors’ swashbuckling tales of adventure and ghostly apparitions. On her tenth birthday, Aisling received an egg containing a Mareep and a note from Gym Leader Jasmine: “Amphy and I have seen the way your eyes sparkle when you look up at Glitter Lighthouse. She knows that you will raise her child with love and care. Be well and may adventure find you!”
After much training, Aisling and Flaafy reached Ecruteak City and challenged Gym Leader Morty. Though she lost several times, Aisling became more enamored with his ghost stories and unique ghost Pokémon each day. On the day Aisling finally won the Fog Badge, she and her Pokémon said their goodbyes to Morty, who encouraged Aisling to tell him her own ghost stories one day. Aisling and her Ampharos have been travelling far and wide to this day, hoping to discover more about mysterious ghost-types. Defeat Aisling to receive the Hexspark Badge!

Once a Team Magma member, Volcanus left the organization to train in a volcano. Over the years, Volcanus grew into a seasoned Pokémon trainer with a team of formidable fire Pokémon from every region. Following the advice of his rival, Oceanus, he set his sights on being a gym leader in the PAX Pokémon League in hopes of meeting individuals who can mirror his burning passion. Those who can withstand the flames will earn the Caldera Badge.

Miss Miau is the ultimate cat lady. She carries cat treats and toys with her everywhere she goes and fluently speaks cat. She is probably part cat herself. If she isn’t lazing on a sunny rooftop with her cat posse, she’s off traveling the world rescuing stray kittens. If you think you’ve got what it takes to tame her jazz cats, challenge her for the Whiskers Badge! Be warned though, these cat claws aren’t here to play! Unless there’s tuna…

John’s interest in the paranormal began as a child, when he had a nightmare about the legendary Pokémon Darkrai. Frightened but fascinated by the experience, he began searching for any information about the mysterious beast. Since then, he has spent his life learning about the paranormal side of the Pokémon world. Research of this kind requires an uncommonly high level of funding, so to make ends meet, John opened Unova’s first (and only) paranormal investigation and removal company. His job took him around first Unova, then the world. Most of his work involved the removal of Ghost Pokémon, gaining him the nickname “the Ghost Buster”. Impressed with his mastery of ghost Pokémon during a investigation at her gym, Sinnoh’s Gardenia extended him an invitation to the PAX Pokémon League to serve as Gym Leader. With his trusty Rotom-pack and his own specially modified Dark Balls, Hamato takes on all challengers: Ghost, paranormal, or trainer alike! If you can show you “ain’t afraid of no ghosts” and take down his team, you will earn yourself the Buster Badge!
