We can’t believe PAX Online is over! So much has happened over the last nine days: battles, burnout and making friends! We couldn’t do it without YOU the challengers who make it all worth it! But we have some people we need to thank because without them PPL:O would not have happened!

You may know him as another Elite 6 member, Kellen, the Twisted Alchemist! Toastdeib wrote the PPL Bot from the ground up that we used within the Discord and without it PPL: O would not have been possible! Follow him on twitch!

Another Elite 6 member contributed heavily to the success of PPL:O! You may recognize him as Cryo, Twister of the Elements or Evan Fuhr! He designed the digital trainer card for us and without him you wouldn’t have been able to see all of your badges! Follow him on twitter!

We are almost halfway through PAX Online and we are AMAZED at how excited the challengers are to going through the gym challenge! At the time of this post we have THREE champions which is crazy! That said, we wanted to announce the prizes that Hall of Fame Entrants for PAX Online 2020 will be eligible for. Champions will be contacted after PAX Online concludes to get information about which prize they would like and where to send it. The prize pools between Australia/New Zealand and U.S./Canada are different due to shipping constraints. In addition to prizes, champions will also receive a champion certificate.

AHHHH! PAX Online is here and we are so excited to share all of the hard work that our admins and leaders have been doing to make it special for you!

We’ve said most of this information in previous posts but we figured it was time to compile it into a massive post that you can look at to get all the information you need!  Click on the Porygon-Z images to open links.

The PPL Discord is where you can challenge gym leaders and stay up to date on all of our events:

PPL Online gym leaders will start taking challengers at 10 am AEST on the 12th which is 8 pm EDT/5 pm PDT on the 11th (that’s the same time for everyone converted for time zones) .

PPL Online will officially end at 11 am AEST on the 21st, which is 9 pm EDT/6 pm PDT on the 20th.

Throughout PAX Online, we will be raising money for Child’s Play!  To make things interesting leaders have been divided into 8 teams, each one representing a different generation of Pokemon.  If you have a favorite make sure to apply your donation to that generation’s team, because the team that raises the most will earn the bragging rights of the most popular generation!  Our campaign page is linked to the Porygon-Z, but here are the links to each of the team’s donation pages:

Donating to an individual leader’s page will also contribute to their team’s goal, and all donations will contribute to the overall PPL total.

We also will be doing a charity stream 9/19 (20/9 AEST) 4am-7am AEST/ 11am-2pm PDT/ 1pm-3pm CDT/ 2pm-4pm EDT to raise money as well!

With PAX Online revealing their schedule today, we wanted to reveal our schedule of events for PAX Online! We just couldn’t bring to you the PAX Pokemon League without the sense of community and sociability that we strive to bring to the Diversity and Handheld Lounge every year! We will have panels, game nights, meet ups and even a charity stream for Child’s Play!

The first tab at the bottom will take you the Event List that has a description of each event and when it will be in each timezone and where each event will be held. The other tabs at the bottom (AEST, PDT, CDT, and EDT) will take you to a picture view of our schedule for the specific timezone listed! On the AEST, PDT, CDT, and EDT tabs, each event is clickable and will take you to the event location either on our Discord or Twitch.

 It’s less than 20 days until PAX Online! AhhhH! We will  be doing all normal PAX Pokemon League activities through our Discord server! Don’t rush in to challenge just yet we are still working behind the scenes to make everything perfect! Closer to September 12th,  when PAX Online is here, we will open up the flood gates for you to challenge gym leaders! Below are the Rules and How to Challenge PPL Online to help you best prepare to challenge the League head on!

Hungry for PAX Online News? The PAX Pokemon League you know and love will be active during PAX Online! You’ll be able to battle gym leaders, challenge the elite four and face champions and enter the Hall of Fame all from the safety of home! The admins are working hard behind the scenes to create a schedule of events, leader meetups and bring the same community of the PAX Pokemon League to you! Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

Applications to be a PAX Pokemon League Gym Leader for PAX Online are now open until July 24th! This is the first PAX that will 100% online and you better bet that the PAX Pokemon League is going to be apart of it!
