Geno is just a man who decided that he would run an exercising gym for people and Pokémon alike. He and his partner Lopunny help trainers build their strength as well as that of their partners. Once he heard that PAX South was on its way, Geno decided to help show the PAX Pokémon League what the power of good health and friendship can do!

Matt was a normal trainer, that is, until his older, veteran trainer brother handed him his first devastating loss. For the next fourteen grueling years, Matt trained day and night trying to become the best, like no one ever was. He often went days without sleep, when he finally conquered every region’s league, he was asked what he would do next. “Sleep…” he meekly responded. Since then, he’s slept every moment he could. With PAX South on the horizon, Matt’s finally awake, only to meet the next challenger head on!

Howdy pardner! Yer looking for battle? You won’t find a finer place than Menloe’s ranch. His farm raised Pokés are top notch! Blue ribbon winners, the lot of ’em. It just takes the right feed, trainin’, and good dose a hard work. Menloe’s moseyed on down to PAX South to show off the results of raisin’ Pokémon right.

Roman, the Unkillable Phantom!

Many moons ago, Roman was an seen as a cheap Pokemon trainer. Many despised Roman and their underhanded tactics in battle garnering many enemies. One day, Roman’s enemies had enough and led an attack against them. Little did they know Roman was already dead. Using their Ghost Pokemon, Roman defeated their enemies and gained the title Unkillable Phantom. Roman, unable to be defeated, now travels the land looking for trainers to put up a challenge. With eyes now set on PAX South, Roman hopes to meet a trainer strong to finally defeat them.

One may bake you into a pie, one may turn you into a dog. Mysterious entities formed from light, shadow, whims, and wishes, they hail from the Misery Wood, an ever-changing forest where beauty cannot be trusted and danger lurks behind every smile, where Dark and Fairy Type Pokémon roam. The two witches of the Misery Wood have come to show that not all is what it seems, and victory is far from a sure thing!

Mokuba learned everything he knows about strategy from his older brother, so he chose his Pokémon to be modeled after Seto’s deck of Dragons. Mokuba and his Pokémon are ready for anything!

Earlessa Grey hosts tea parties for her Pokémon every day. It turns out, feeding happy Pokémon delicious tea makes them strong! Together with Polteageist, she sweetens her teas with sugary-sweet cream, vanilla, and even honey. And of course, the leaf queen is always in attendance! Bring some heat to the party so we can ensure a perfect brew, and don’t forget that a steel kettle will make your tea party complete!

Chad was supposed to be handing out free drink samples, but MAXIMUM CHARGE has not yet been deemed safe for public consumption, whatever that means, right? RAD! A tall bearded man moves among them, refilling a glass here, sharing a laugh there, when you catch his eye. He smiles a wide smile and heads straight to you. You are about to meet Grimlock, the owner of this establishment, and he is about to send you on an adventure. But first: roll for initiative!
