Jay, the Lost Boy!

After being lost in a blizzard, Jay encountered shivering Snorunt. It shared its shoal with him to keep warm in the cold. Now, it remains by Jay’s side, eager to take on challenges from new trainers, playfully recreating the frigid climate to test whether they too are strong enough to overcome the blizzard.

Morgan, the Charming Prince!

Morgan’s true passion is the cute and lovely friend from the Fairy Pokémon Kingdom. He harnesses the power of love and friend to overcome any challenger that may be presented. Morgan is delighted to make your acquaintance and hopes you will allow him to entertain you in a battle.

Dreams do come true when you defeat Morgan for the Fairy Tale Badge!

Colress, the Pokémon Potential Professor!

Colress spends much of his time travelling the world, trying to find the secret behind drawing out the greatest potential from Pokémon. His current research is in how a Pokémon’s true power is with its trainer and has come to PPL Australia to find shining examples of this.

Lana, the Water Trial Captain!

Leaving her sisters behind in Brooklet Hill, Lana has travelled to PAX Aus to see the aquatic creatures Australia has to offer. She is keen to see this water surrounded country, and hopes to reel in some new water type friends.

Lad, the Pink Avenger!

Look around the hall to find this overly pink leader of fairies. A hero to those that can’t help themselves, always there just when they need help. By day a student looking forward to future of being a cop, by night a pink clad saviour. Whenever you need help or honestly just someone to talk to, find the pink hero.
When things really get dire look for the black suit and scarf of your local Spiderman!

Lex, the Spectral Collector!

Growing up Lex loved ghost Pokémon, so when he moved into Slateport city he joined the Pokémon Fan Club immediately.
He was welcomed with open arms by the president and soon became a regular at the Fan Club. Over the years Lex collected more of his favourite ghosts; other trainers who loved ghosts slowly grew in attendance.
When the time came for the President to retire he put it to a vote to choose the next President and with most attendants lovers of ghost Pokémon, Lex won in a landslide.
Lex’s love for ghosts slowly pushed some members away and drew ghost lovers to the Fan Club, eventually leaving it as a Ghost Fan Club and it becoming recognised as a Ghost Gym.
Lex, donning his Mega Banette Costume, waits for trainers inside his Ghost Fan Club, hoping for new challengers to show him how truly spectacular ghosts can be.

Can you overcome Lex’s deepest bonds with his eerie Phantasms to earn yourself the Revenant Badge?!

Rune, the Lunarian Scientist!

While not technically a scientist, Rune’s goal this year is to prove the existence of life beyond Pokémon and humans at this year’s PAX Aus.
Keep your tinfoil hats at the ready and reach for the stars as you battle a team as eccentric as their trainer.
Your battle with Rune will be one small step towards a Champion battle, and one giant leap for the Moon Badge.

Alice, the Five Year Leader!

To celebrate her fifth year as a Gym Leader in the PAX Pokémon League, Alice is coming as the most interesting character she can think of: Herself!

Alice has played many characters over the last few years as a leader for PAX Pokémon League, from Charlotte the Crazy Espurr Lady to Crystal the Contest Champion to Kitty, one half of the Cat-Dog Duo, so this year she’ll be bringing some of her favourite friends from her previous teams to battle.

Come help her celebrate this milestone by defeating her for the Five Year Badge!

Possession of a full set of Alice’s previous badges will also net you a very special prize!

Phil, the Filthy Recluse!

Wandering alone, shambling across the desert, Phil returns to civilisation. Well-worn Safety Goggles hang loosely from his neck. Each step leaves a small gust of sand in his wake. Boy has he seen some dusty, dusty things… mad things, things that should have stayed in the desert.
