Hello trainers! PPL South is a wrap, and East is gearing up for April. But before South 2016 bids farewell, (and we reveal this year’s Hall of Fame!) we’d like to ask you some questions! If you challenged the PAX Pokemon League at PAX South 2016, we have a survey for you. Your feedback will help us make the PPL even better next year!
Click here to take the survey!
It shouldn’t take long, and your feedback is very important to us! We put on the PPL for your enjoyment so we definitely want to hear what we’ve done well, and what could be better!
Thanks in advance!
There are are rumors that a villain has infiltrated the ranks of the PAX Pokemon League! The Champion has launched a full investigation into the matter, but needs your help to track this criminal down. Report to the PAX South Diversity Lounge for details on how you can help track down this nefarious ne’er-do-well and save the PPL, maybe even the world!
P.S. – Investigators stand to be rewarded for their efforts in protecting the PAX Pokemon League!
As the long time leader of Sootopolis Gym and as Champion, Wallace gathered the most elegant, beautiful, and powerful water type Pokemon Hoenn has to offer. Following in his predecessor Steven’s footsteps, Wallace has currently abdicated his position in Hoenn to travel the world in search of pokemon and trainers worthy of his respect. More than water types have been gracing Wallace’s contest roster this season so you can expect the same in battle. Flowers and electricity won’t be enough to stop this seasoned veteran! Give it your all to defeat the champion and enter the Hall of Fame!
Growing up in Snowpoint City, Connor has always loved trekking through the snow fields around Mt. Coronet. He often offers his services as a guide to those looking to make a journey across northern Sinnoh in the harsh winter snows. With his trusty ice-type Pokemon at his side, he knows there’s nothing to fear in the wintry wilds. Make Connor feel the burn with fire moves, or crack his ice with fighting types! Defeat this mountaineer to earn the Snowblind Emblem!
Bo was born in Johto’s Ecruteak City, but was brought up in San Antonio, Texas. During a visit to the Alamo, Bo encountered a mischievous Ghastly. Bo saw potential in the Ghost-type Pokémon, eventually convincing it to follow him home. They established a bond that would see them through their rise in the ranks of the Pokémon world. Now an established member of the Elite 5 and a seasoned veteran of Ghost Type Pokémon, Bo will travel to PAX South to help oversee the rise of new Pokémon Masters. Bust his ghosts to earn the Spirit Emblem!
Dell grew up on the mean streets of inner city Houston where he was always fighting bullies and would-be thugs. One day he met a beautiful ballerina with a Buneary who asked him to be her dance partner. He jokingly agreed if she could beat him in a Pokémon battle. To his astonishment, her Buneary pummeled his Mienfoo with ease as it gracefully danced around his attacks. True to his word he became her dance partner. He had to learn to rely and trust in someone other than himself, and, thus his love of dance was awakened. From ballet to rumba and hip-hop to classical he loved it all. He turned all his fighting fury into devastating dances. Believing you’re only as good as your partner in both dancing and battling, he focused on double battles to create epic dance battle fusions. Prove your trust in your partners to groove your way to victory and earn the Double-Time Emblem!
Petro was born and raised just outside quiet Mahogany town in the Johto region. On his fifth birthday, Petro got an egg that hatched into an excited Rhyhorn. After many treks over Mt. Mortar and laps around the Lake of Rage, Rhyhorn evolved into the powerful Rhydon, and Petro realized that he loved the coarse aesthetic of Rock and Ground type Pokemon. Petro attempted to challenge the Johto league, but had trouble defeating the Ice-type Pokemon at his home gym. He decided that in order to finally beat Pryce, he needed to travel the world and find other Pokemon that could beat Ice types. After returning from a journey to many other regions, Petro defeated Pryce with his newly evolved Rhyperior. Show Petro and his coarse companions your rock hard determination to obtain the Silica Emblem!
Deep down under the streets of the Unova region lies the Scorpion Den, where dark type trainers from all regions gather for an epic battle royale to fight for the approval of their leader, Delila. Having risen to power with nothing save for her wit and her Krookodile, she is their fearless leader. Little else is known about this ruthless trainer who was rarely seen outside of her domain. Now she’s departed from Unova to make her mark on PAX South. Fight and worm your way past the Shady Six to earn her approval and the Thorn Emblem!
