After a long week of battles at the Pokemon World Tournament the former champions came together to play a board game to wind down. Unfortunately, not all the former champions could make the weekly game night. Lance was hosting a panel at Dragonite Con that weekend about his thesis: “Application of Many Dragonites within a Single Team Unit”. Iris couldn’t attend either because it was past her bedtime. Diantha, being a busy actress was promoting her new movie “Durant Man”. So the remaining former champions: Cynthia, Wallace, Steven Stone, Alder, and Gary Oak got to talking about whose region had the best challengers.
“Well, the challengers in my region know how to make the most out of their time!” Cynthia mentioned casually as she placed her hotel on Boardwalk.
“Psh my challengers are the most ambitious and courageous!” Gary shouted as he collected the Free Parking money from the middle.
“Excuse me? Have you been to Unova? My challengers have to deal with N crashing a castle into the Pokemon League!” Alder said angrily as he moved the Shoe to jail.
“What about not one but TWO teams fighting about land versus sea? Your challengers have it easy!” Steven Stone said as he held an open hand towards Wallace collecting a heavy rent.
“I don’t know about you guys but I just traveled to Kalos and I think it’s kinda cool.” Wallace shrugged as he counted what little money he had left.
CRASHHH. Every one of the champions looked toward the door and saw a mysterious figure in the dust. “You guys are all wrong.” a voice growled. “Johto is the best and I’ll punch every one of you who disagrees.”
