Ms. Cecilia Green is an adventurous engineer whose fiery Pokemon friends help light the steam engine of her airship. Growing up a student of history in Lacunosa town, she developed a fascination with technology that hasn’t been used in Unova in centuries. After many failed attempts, she finally succeeded in building her own flying machine, which she now uses to travel the world with her faithful Growlithe at her side. Now she has flown her airship gym to Boston to award successful challengers the Dirigible Badge!

After defeating Blue in the 9th Pokemon Championship in the Kanto region, Red is traveling the world, looking for more challenges. His quest has brought him to the PAX Pokemon League. She observed them and studied their special strengths, helping her build the perfect team of Flying Pokemon. With the discovery of new creatures everyday Vitani quenches her thirst by learning about Pokemon, and by defeating any rogue trainer who comes her way. Challenge her intellect and earn the Knowledge Badge!

Born in Celestic Town, Jiana was raised on the legends of Sinnoh and the importance of respect for the power of legendary Pokemon. As a child, she joined an order of monks dedicated to the protection of the natural order through meditation on the power of Pokemon. Normally a pacifist order, since the disruptions caused by Teams Magma, Aqua, Galactic, and Plamsa, the monks have taken a more active role in the world, beyond just spiritual education. After training in solitude for years with her fighting Pokemon, Jiana was selected as an emissary of the order to the PAX Pokemon League. She hopes, though battle, to instill in trainers the lessons she learned as a monk of focus and respect for the power in every trainer’s hands. Defeat her to earn the Meditation Badge!

Having lost his parents at a young age, Calucian set off on his own journey in search of some meaning to his life. He quickly discovered that travelling the world, seeing all the lands and Pokemon it had to offer made him feel complete in a way nothing else had. When he heard of the desert region of Orre, it lit his imagination on fire. The promise of a vast, endless sea of sand inhabited by all sorts of unique desert Pokemon unlike any he had seen before was too good to ignore. With nothing but a Pokedex and a few Pokemon in tow he set off on what he saw as the ultimate adventure, and became a master of the desert. Bugly began his Pokemon journey with a fascination for Bug Pokemon but soon noticed he was somewhat of an odd man out. Any trainer worth their weight in badges will tell you that most people specializing in Bug types are nothing to be afraid of. Bugly aimed to change this, traveling the globe in search of a way to prove the power of his Bug partners. Even after traveling all the way to the Unova region, Bugly was disappointed. The so-called leader of the giant Castellia City turned out to hugely misrepresent Bugs! That’s when Bugly knew he had to show the world what a true commander of Bugs is capable of. You’ll have to come prepared for much more than a Metapod when facing this Bug-lover, but if you manage to burn through his troops and squash this Commander of the Hive, you’ll be awarded the Mandible Badge!

In this day and age the chivalrous Ways of Aura are becoming a fading belief, as the few who take up the challenge and undergo the rigorous trials fall short of success; a fact Riley has sadly noticed. Hoping to change that trend, Riley began training with Lucario and his other trusted Pokemon at Sinnoh’s Battle Tower to make ready for the day when they could show the world that the Ways of Aura aren’t a relic of a long-gone era, so as to inspire trainers to form a new generation of Aura Guardians. That day came when he heard of the PAX Pokemon League and its uncanny ability to attract the world’s most talented trainers. Surely, he thought this would be his best chance to find trainers worthy of following the Ways of Aura as a Guardian! The Aura is with him; prove it is strong in you and you will claim the mark of a true Aura Guardian: The Essence Badge!

Stolen from her parents at birth, River Song wandered through time and space trying to find a famous time traveler. During one of these jaunts through time, she met the legendary Celebi, and was inspired to became an archaeologist. She followed Celebi to Johto and began to study the incredible histories of the Pokemon world, with the help of the team of ancient Pokemon she discovered during her travels. After seeing the universe with her two favorite companions, Celebi and a certain Time Lord, Pokemon battling is a piece of cake! Face her now, and you face the knowledge of an intergalactic time-traveling archeologist. To earn the Time Badge, you’ll have to defeat her team of- *Bzzt* “Spoilers, Sweetie!”

After performing in a Pokemon musical, Lily was ambushed by a biker gang. Though she had complete confidence in her team of adorable Pokemon, they were getting badly beaten. Training nearby, Drake overheard the commotion and came running to see what was happening. He appeared on the scene to see the distressed Lily in tears over her downed friends but still fighting on with her last remaining Pokemon. Drake jumped into battle at her side and together they defeated the attackers. They have been partners since that day, even if he still shakes his head at her affinity for cute Pokemon over more battle-ready ones. Defeat them both to earn the Tag-Team badge!
