We have confirmed sightings of two more powerful trainers, and we suspect there may be more, as far as we can tell, these trainers are going to be taking the top spots on the PWT as the “elite” if you will. We will have more information the four we know, and any remaining elite trainers as we get it.
Uh-oh trainers, looks like some powerful trainers have gotten wind of the pokemon world tournament. Over the next few days we’ll see more information, but as of right now, we’ve managed to sneak a peek at two of them. Who are these mysterious individuals? Who else is coming?
Two childhood rivals that could never overcome one another, Douglas and Finley tied at the Johto League championships years ago. After that, they decided to join together and challenge other leagues. Working together surprisingly well, they conquered many leagues. After hearing about the PAX Pokemon League Douglas and Finley decided to see just how tough it actually was, and if their teamwork could hold a candle against the Pokemon World Tournament.
Wow, last of the Gym leaders. Well, these two like to fight together, and are pretty damn good at it. Usually their strategy comes down to fight or flight, but if you manage to divide them, you may be able to conquer them easier. And with that victory, comes the Rivals badge.
Tierkreis grew up in Ecruteak city and always had a fascination with the stars. He would often go to his backyard and gaze for hours upon end. When old enough, Tierkreis went around the world to study the various constellations, and the rituals and practices built around them.. His calm and control tactics have left trainer in awe. Now he’s decided it’s time for the PWT to use their wits to battle against the Roulette of Pokemon waiting for them.
This guys a bit on the spooky side, holds a lot of stock in fate and destiny, thus, he lets you pick your own fate. In a way…If luck is on your side, you should be able to eke out the Celestial badge!
After Following N last year against the battle with challengers against teams who would abuse their Pokemon for Power, she parted ways with Team Plasma temporarily to become stronger to protect Pokemon and the Bonds with their Trainers. Now, Kagura joins the PWT to show what she’s learned to the rest of the trainers.
Hey Champ-in-the-making this gym leader will be using dark-type pokemon so make sure you have some good bug and fighting type moves to make this battle more easy and to uphold your honor. If you can avoid bringing shame upon your family, you will be rewarded the Black-out Badge.
Kid’s in a mighty heap of trouble after rocketing out of Caelondia, been looking for a place to hang his hat, so to speak. And felt like Seattle was just the right mix of drear to bring back memories of home. Not too happy to find out about this “world tournament” thing, been a bit of a pacifist since watching his buddy zulf…well. we don’t need to talk about that.
This guy’s awful quiet, he doesn’t speak much, but when he does he tends to mean it. He’s not too fond of fighting, and in fact has become quiet the gardener of late. You won’t be able to fight him for his badge, but if you find a way to prove your merit and strength of heart, you can be sure that he’ll hand over the Calamity Badge.
While playing poker with the other Cipher Admins, Venus was exclaiming that girls are just more fabulous than men especially in a battle. Miror B. never wanting to be upstaged by anyone went to a famous hot spring and decided to hop in. Delighted by his…erm, her new body, Miror B. decided to go out of Orre for exciting opportunities to show off her new dance moves to others. Upon finding the Pokémon World Tournament, Miror B. found the perfect place to show off not only her dance moves but her wonderful Ludicolos’.
Water man here, seems we have a lot of members of the ah…darker side of the law joining us. Like her name, Miror B. likes reflections, and if you can find your pokemon’s reflection, as well as your rhythm, you’ll dance yourself into the Garish Badge!
Coming out of his forest hideaway on his yearly pilgrimage to PAX, Jose is here to test the bonds between people and their Pokemon. Secluding himself from society allowed Jose to form bonds of absolute trust between him, and his right, and left hand Pokemon. Rather than spreading the weight between an entire team of six Pokemon, Jose is here to see if you are able to to place all the trust instead on just two.
This guys a strange one, kid. He’ll only be bringing two Pokemon to the fray, but then, you have to as well. Balance is the key here, and if you think you’ve got what it takes to beat this dual master, you can earn yourself the Trust badge
Many years ago, someone stole Rustwyrm’s’ prize motorcycle, causing him to be kicked off Bicycle Bridge. He tracked the thief to the PAX Pokemon League, and has fought his way to the championships, in hopes of finding the thief and getting his motorcycle back.
Look out Champ, even though he doesn’t have his motorcycle anymore, Rustwyrm still behaves like a Biker. Which means he uses primarily Poison Pokemon. Use Ground or Psychic attacks against him, and bring in Steel Pokemon to resist poison effects. But be careful, Rustwyrm still has some tricks up his sleeve. Also, watch out for Toxic and Toxic Spikes. If you manage to do this, you’ll get yourself the Wheel Badge (He’s not bitter, he swears!)
Giovanni, in spite of all his scheming, is still an accomplished pokemon trainer. (Or at least the people he bankrolls says he is) With his professed mastery over land, sea, and air, he uses his pokemon to provide a formidable challenge, a true test of their skills as a pokemon master! Not to be outdone by his “enthusiastic” ex-underling, Giovanni chose to enter the PWT to prove that might makes right!
That Giovanni, he seems to always come back for more! The Boss uses his power like a hammer, so don’t be a nail! Keep moving and out-think his brutes! If you can keep him grounded, you’ll get yourself the Earth badge!
