***Here are some VERY IMPORTANT things for you to know before and during PAX!***

Our Meetup Times!:

Find us in the Hand Held Lounge on these dates and times!

2:30PM on Friday
2:30PM on Saturday
1:30PM on Sunday.

And battle the Champion at our closing showcase starting at 5PM on Sunday in the park at the top of the escalators!

Also, as a bonus, several gym leaders will be meeting at the Westlake Center at 7:30pm on THURSDAY before PAX!

They are there to collect materials needed for the convention, but it is also a great time to get your battle on early with us!

 

Be on the lookout for our fabulous green scarves!

These scarves indicate who active gym leaders are! If you see one, then that gym leader is ready to battle!

And you won’t just find leaders in the Hand Held Lounge – they will be OUT and ABOUT the entire convention space!

While internet and cell reception can be rough at PAX, we will be doing our absolute best to live-tweet the locations of all of our gym leaders that use twitter while also sending out reminders about the meetups before they happen!

 

Also, feel free to check out our new PPL Guidebook application!  As we are a volunteer group, downloads of the guide are limited, but for the lucky 200 PAX Prime-goers that download this, you can have our meetup times with you at all times along with the list of leaders to look out for!

After much undercover research, I’ve finally uncovered the last piece to Madame’ Boss’ Plan: Recruitment Cards.

That’s right, these are our 5 different Recruitment cards, one for each of the teams.

The way they seem to work, is that each of the 5 teams at PAX (Plasma, Rocket, Aqua, Magma, and Galactic) have their bosses seeking out new recruits to join their team.  If you do, you’ll recieve a card and be tasked with battling against recruits from the other teams, in order to determine which team is truly the best.

Here is a close up picture of the back of the team Magma Recruitment card.  The others seem to be very similar.

It seems the reward for completing your recruitment is some form of team representation, in the form of a bandana in your team’s color with their logo on it.

The last and potentially most important thing about these cards is that selecting a team means that you don’t have to battle that member of the elite 5 to get to the champion; your new boss will let you through with a free pass.  It seems however that whether or not you get a badge is up to your boss’ decision.

I’m aware that noble trainers, like most of you reading this post, would be reluctant to join up with any of these teams, and I respect your resolve, but it is imparitive that we gain more information about what these teams are up to.  That’s why, those trainers who do not support any of these teams should report to Professor Pine (that’s me).  I’ll have a special task, for you to go undercover in one of the organizations from which we need more information.

So the plan was to have a grand big announcement today, but along the way we happened across a snorlax in the road.

We are currently hanging our heads in shame as we trek pack to a pokemon center to pick up our pokeflute that no one know why was in the PC in the first place.

Rest easy though, we’ll have things back up and on schedule tomorrow!  Trust me, you’ll like it.

As you’ve probably seen in our forums, on our twitter, or on our Facebook; Leader applications are now open for PAX Prime.  Even though PAX Passes sold out in 3 blinks of an eye, if you’ve got passes, or are willing to trade a kidney for a 3-day pass on the black market*, we’d love to have you apply.

If you head on into our forums, you’ll have all the information you need!
