How to Challenge the PPL:
Challenger Registration will be open closer to the event!
This year for East, we’ll be continuing to use a webapp system in order for you to track your badge progress virtually, see which Leaders are available, and a bunch of other neat stuff.

Here’s the current ruleset for PPL at PAX East 2026!
We will be using Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch as the main method of battling. A small number of Leaders may have non-Switch related Challenges. (Leader Reveals start closer to PAX!)

Leader Meetup Times / Where do I find Gym Leaders?
Leader Meetup times are specific times when a large number of Leaders gather to take challengers. If you’re missing some badges, this would be the best time to guarantee lots of leaders will be around!
Our Meetup Times:
Thursday 1:00 – 3:00 in the Handheld Lounge
Friday 1:00 – 3:00 in the Handheld Lounge
Saturday 1:00 – 3:00 in the Handheld Lounge
Sunday 1:00 – 3:00 in the Handheld Lounge
