A veteran NASA geologist who has spent many years working with his Pokémon teammates to explore the reaches of the galaxy, Perseverance is a leading expert on extraterrestrial Pokémon life. His research eventually caught the attention of the League and received an invitation to join them and demonstrate the fruits of his knowledge. Perseverance gladly accepted the chance to do some new field research and took a sabbatical to battle challengers as a proud League member.
