Weal and Woe are travelling fortune tellers who have been partners for many years. Their unique attributes have drawn certain tidings to each of them, with good omens often following Weal, and bad omens often following Woe. To understand each other and their omens better, their partner Pokémon temper theses qualities, with Woe’s Ampharos providing him a beacon of light to cut through the dark, and Weal’s Gengar giving him a deeper understanding of shadow. Together, they’ve come to the PPL to see what the future holds for its challengers… whether it’s what they hope to see or not.

Ecruteak City is renowned for its old-fashioned charm, and none so infamous as the many folk tales surrounding the Burned Tower. Legends say, if you leave offerings to the lost Pokémon, you may be blessed by the mysterious spirit Inari. Be careful though, as offense may be met with a curse, and you will spirited away by the Fox.
Find your way through the fog and fight spirit for spirit to earn the Silent Emblem!
