Muckfoot, the Marsh Druid
Muckfoot (not his birthname) wandered the backwoods behind his house after school with his dad, and from time to time they’d also wander the neighboring marsh and creekside. Every so often, he or his dad would misstep and sink knee-deep in thick mud. Their inside joke became ‘Look out for Muckfoot!’ and the name stuck with him as he aged and wandered the backwoods more and more on his own. He grew to appreciate the plants and animals that he observed, and gradually came to learn which were edible, which were poisonous, and which were medicinal. Occasionally he would catch sight of something mysterious or unexplainable, and catalogue these along with his plant and animal lore. One evening, at sunset, everything changed when Muckfoot met his first Fairy-type gliding among the reeds of the creek. . . since then he has learned a great deal more about the poisons and the enchantments of the borderlands that are the marsh, and cooperates with Pokemon in battles as a way to showcase their unique qualities.
