Yeah, I actually saw this. There's a lot of sites that run their own leagues, but as far as I know we're the only (long-running) league that runs in real life. There was another one that was at a college Anime convention, but their site is unfortunately now defunct.

I don't think anyone is as fun as us, especially since we do our battling in person (and in cosplay!). But, this could be a good off-season practice.

Yeah, there are lots of sites and forums that run little independent leagues.

But my first thought was, "OK, if THIS gets on Bulbanews, there is NO reason that the PPL shouldn't be on there, too."

How do we go about getting an announcement about PPL up over there?

I suppose the contact section would be a start. Anyone already this or should I go for it?

I think we should try to get them to announce our league at the same time PAX tickets become available. There might be some people on a cusp of coming to PAX East that might actually come when they hear about the PPL. We don't want to be too early and have people forget and we don't want to advertise after people can buy tickets.

Ideally we would get two posts, one when tickets go on sale and one to remind people PAX is coming.
