Put mine in, hope I havn't gone too much into overkill territory. Though I have to admit I have half the teams done already and have started resetting Omega and Y so I can set character names right.

I'm the idiot challenger for last year with the all shiny team. Guess what my GL theme is for the application this year?

Gems. Nice shiny gems... Although I'm having a bit of difficulty deciding on spot #6.
Hoping I get to join everybody this year - it was stacks of fun last year and got me a lot more interested in battling.

Phil, I might need some help about the applications. I have no idea what title I should name myself and my Gravity team. And I'm not sure if we are still keeping the "only one type a team" theme.

Just to add after seeing the tail end of the application. I'm afraid I don't have the creativity to create a biography that pertains to my character type.

@DolphinSquared, after the Applications come in and we choose the Gym Leaders for 2015, there will be a separate forum for Leaders to facilitate the fleshing-out of their "Gym", whether it be mono-type or based on a specific theme. There will be some time in between this and PAX, and will include edits and peer-review. I wouldn't get too hung up on not having a fully fleshed out back story from the get go.

@Kaka has chimed in below with a few swell ideas! Or you could check out what we had for 2014, that's a good start I am still particularly proud of my backstory, but obviously I'm not sure how many challengers could have told you why I had a pocket full of Ghosts?!
