I got on! My college internet doesn't allow us to connect to the Wifi, though, so I have to play using Fennel's Munna. But that's okay! I got myself a Tangled Feet Doduo this time, and I figure I'll just keep collecting Pokemon friends until I go home for Easter.

I think the problem is they were going to get a ton of traffic no matter when they launched it.

I've had no problems getting in, found 7 Pokemon, ending up bringing back a Female Defiant Farfetch'd. Not bad for my first day. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Quick question: Can you register online, or do you need to do it thru the WiFi connection in the game?

No wifi at home. Only I have access to a computer and Nintendo compatible wifi (without lugging my laptop along) is the library.

Oh, and is that whole "Only 1 hour per day" thing true?

Well, you do need some kind of Wi-Fi connection to get your Pokemon off your DS ans into the Dream World. But you could go to the library, send your Poke through and then just keep him there for as long as you want. Just head back to the library to pull him back, even if that's a week or a month later. I'm pretty sure that your account info and other stuff con be set up on the web site seperately.

And yes, just one hour a day. I was home sick yesterday and wished it were not true - but alas, it was.
