So, Primal Groudon...

Primal Groudon is a beast. My whole team was roughly 5 levels over him and he still OHKO's 5 of them without any crits, type strength/weakness, or stat changes. On a Nuzlocke run no less.

Anyone else notice this when they tried catching/ fighting him?

Havn't seen him once during the whole game.

Certainly unrelated to the fact I'm playing sapphire.

Kyogre is annoying as hell.

And the reason: Aqua Ring.

My team is way over his puny level 45, but he ended up running out of moves and hurting himself

Also, I went in first time with my own Kyogre, which probably didn't help much

After an hour of trying to catch Primal Groudon, I threw my Master Ball at him.

I named him Tyrannosaurus Rest.

I will also be throwing a Masterball of defeat at Kyogre tonight on the rematch!

I understand you can sometimes get more Masterballs via secret base shenanigans, so I have hope I'll be able to keep one unused one on me just in case...

I'm a little worried about when I run through omega for Groudon. Given the ground typing is going to limit a quick thunder wave. That is what I did to Kyogre, smacked it up a bit and ultra balled it. Groudon I'm planning on just slapping it with Breloom's spore if the quickball doesn't take. Luckily it did take with Rayquaza. M-balled the Deoxys simply as I was in migraine mode and just wanted to catch the sneaky blighter.

Breloom spore/false swipe has been a godsend. Helps when it has hidden ability too.
