Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

I'm hyped that there's a new pokemon game. I'm not hyped about the Hoenn part. Hoenn was kind of eh for me.

As mentioned earlier, it IS entirely possible that these will take place in a whole new region, what with what the teaser says, and what that one guy in that one hotel says.

I've heard another few theories about these two games. One is that they're sequels to Ruby and Sapphire.

There's also some more minor theories about it.

1. What if the red/blue/green orbs are actually mega stones?

2. According to Zygarde's Pokedex entry, it watches over nature and confronts those that bring harm to it. What if Zygarde plays a part in these games instead of Rayquaza?

Oh man. I didn't even think about the possibility that they could be SEQUELS to Ruby/Sapphire! WHAT

That's crazy.

As long as they make there be less Surfing/Diving, and they keep secret bases in the game, I'll be happy.

I didn't play Emerald long enough to really experience the secret bases. I was mostly dealing with the Battle Frontier before I deemed it impossible (Mind you, this was before I knew about anything competitive.), and overpriced as shit. I basically got all the legendaries, then not too long after that I bought Black with my 3DS.

Yeah, I actually haven't been into Pokemon for very long. I lost interest around Gen 2. Then I picked it up again and played Blue, then Crystal, then Emerald, the only games I had.

Anyways, provided this takes place in Hoenn, I wonder how everything will look. It'll be a much more drastic change in appearance than RBY to FRLG or GSC to HGSS. Will we have any free roaming camera towns like Lumiose? and if so, which ones? Personally, I'd cast my vote for Sootopolis, because it's INSIDE A MOUNTAIN!

Secret bases and the possibility of a less surf / rock smash reliant region are very exciting. I say this as someone who was not super thrilled by Gen 3 at all. Pokemon Contests better make a return too, seriously.

I just pray that terrible Regi puzzle is gone.
