[bzst]Preface: [/bzst]Thank you in advance for your application to the PAX Pokemon League. We’ll be looking over applications by October 5th. Please stay up to date with your thread, and the e-mail which you have provided below. We will contact you in one of those ways if we have any questions that need answering. Keep in mind also that the PAX Pokemon League has a small financial commitment as well. Expect to spend at least $25 for purchasing your gym badges, as well as $10-20 for leadership dues (which help keep the league running). If this is a burden, please do not let this hinder your willingness to apply. Please let us know in your application, and we will try to work something out.

A little addendum about themes:

To preserve the spirit of the games, we highly encourage people to consider Monotype teams! They are a fun challenge and make for a stronger more complete set of gym leaders, and we try to recruit enough gym leaders that we can cover all the types! By no means does that mean you cannot make up your own theme, but themes will be judged for cohesiveness! If you're eschewing monotype, your theme should be both creative but not too outlandish or implausible.

EDIT: To clarify, when I say Monotype, I mean teams whose Pokemon all share a type. For reference, consider the gym leaders found in the games. The PPL strives to emulate the in-game experience of going on a journey to challenge gym leaders who specialize in different typed Pokemon.

EDIT EDIT: (PS so far nobody's submitted an application for Grass, Flying, Bug, or Fairy-type...).
