Preface: Thank you in advance your your application to the PAX Pokemon League. We’ll be looking over applications by April 18th. Please stay up to date with your thread, and the e-mail which you have provided below. We will contact you in one of those ways if we have any questions that need answering. Keep in mind also that the PAX Pokemon League has a small financial commitment as well. Expect to spend at least $25 for purchasing your gym badges, as well as $10-20 for leadership dues which help keep the league running. If this is a burden, please do not let this hinder your willingness to apply. Please let us know in your application and we will try to work something out.

We would like our leaders to come up with their character, where they are from, (example, Kanto, Saharan Desert, the island of Catan) and a theme for that character to follow. How did your character become involved in the league?: Professor pine, looking for larger research samples involved with high strength Pokémon, began hosting events to better study Pokémon in hostile environments. From there the events have grown into a full fledged League that meets at PAX Prime and East. Professor Pine continues his research in any free time he has available. He seeks to continue his research by meeting trainers from around the world.
Character Theme: Starters only, triple battles!
Give some examples of Pokémon your leader would use (These don’t have to be final.): Sceptile, Blastoise, Blaziken, Serperior, Empoleon, and Charizard
What strategy would the Gym Guy give about your gym?: Be ready to be on your toes, as this guy battles 3 at a time! Be prepared to switch up your strategy and adapt on the fly. Also watch out for the combo's that his team sets up. If you get caught in swamp fire, you're in trouble.
Will you be cosplaying?: Yup. I will have a lab coat and my other Pokémon Related accoutrements.
