Hey, my name is Zack. PAX East 2013 was my first time involving anything with the PPL, and it was absolutely awesome. The gym leaders/elite 6 I met really helped spark a fresh new passion for pokemon in general. I can't wait to start getting involved with this and see you guys next year!

Just dropping in to say hello. I'm Alex, and I'm glad to say that PPL was the highlight of PAX for me! I've gotta remember to get a 3 day/sunday pass next time though. I was actually starting to fall away from the game, but then my friend let me know about the PPL and I got completely hyped up for it!

Uh, hi guys. I'm Ash(ley) and this was my first PAX. I was going to go last year but didn't get the chance, but I made sure to jump on the three-day pass this year! I have to say that even though I probably spent at least five or six hours in queues (not mad, just wasn't expecting it to be quite that popular), it was still incredibly fun. Getting in the Hall of Fame was pretty baller too.

Sorry if I annoyed anyone with my "MY CHARACTER IS NAMED ASH BECAUSE MY NAME IS ASHLEY" spiel. I feel the need to explain that I'm not unoriginal. Besides, I came first. ):

Have to say though, fighting real people was really fun. I shy away from online competitive battling because it feels like the same 20 Pokemon over and over again. It was a nice change of pace to face a variety of teams and strategies.

The only badge I got was from Reginald. Late Friday night he had a double battle with Brock against my friend and I. Any time I saw Reginald after that he made sure to say hi, and introduced me to a lot of people. He even helped me see the Legendary Binder!
