My default team (and the one I beat the Champ with) was as follows:
[spoiler3wx][img3wx]http://www.pokecheck.org/i/anim/248.gif[/img3wx]
[url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=38942003wx]"Brienne"[/url3wx]
@Lum Berry
Sassy
Sand Stream
Crunch
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Stone Edge
[i3wx]Brienne was my default Lead because of Stealth Rock and the useful Dark/Rock STAB capabilities.[/i3wx]
[img3wx]http://www.pokecheck.org/i/anim/291.gif[/img3wx]
[url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=38965153wx]"Temari"[/url3wx]
@Sitrus Berry
Careful
Speed Boost
Baton Pass
Substitute
Swords Dance
X-Scissor
[i3wx]Temari and Riza were partners in crime. Temari would put up subs and hopefully get a chance to dance before passing. Originally I planned to give Temari[/i3wx] Protect [i3wx]instead of[/i3wx] X-Scissor, [i3wx]but I wanted her to be able to actually fight back if she was ever cornered. Plus I found that Protect wasn't useful for much other than stalling and building up Speed, which frankly Riza didn't need all that much of.[/i3wx]

[url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=39277333wx]"Riza"[/url3wx]
@Leftovers
Adamant
Technician
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Swords Dance
Roost
[i3wx]My pride and joy. Assuming Temari pulled off the setup (or even if Riza just had a chance to do her own[/i3wx] Swords Dance[i3wx]), Riza's boosted[/i3wx] Bullet Punch [i3wx]was almost always a OHKO and had priority to boot. Superpower was handy in case of a Magnezone, Empoleon, or Heatran.[/i3wx]
[img3wx]http://www.pokecheck.org/i/anim/571.gif[/img3wx]
[url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=38312893wx]"Inari"[/url3wx]
@Chople Berry
Timid
Illusion
Dark Pulse
Flamethrower
Focus Blast
Nasty Plot
[i3wx]Inari was my pinch-hit sweeper. If had my back against the wall and I needed to reverse the momentum, Inari would show up looking like Sadako and hopefully cause my opponent to slip up at least for a turn in order to use Nasty Plot and hopefully sweep up a few opponents. The reason I paired up Inari with Sadako is that everything Sadako is weak against, Inari is strong against, and everything Inari is weak to, Sadako is immune or resistant to. However, this assumed that my opponents would always know Gengar's type effectiveness, and sadly, that wasn't often the case. During my battle with Bugly, he used Bug Buzz on Inari, OHKO-ing her. I asked how he knew she was a Zoroark, and he replied that he didn't. He had just forgotten that Gengar was incredibly resistant to Bug moves. Still, this tactic worked during one battle, and that was enough to justify it for me.[/i3wx]

[url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=39252353wx]"Avalon"[/url3wx]
@Life Orb
Timid
Natural Cure
Rapid Spin
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
[i3wx]My defense against entry hazards as well as my coverage sweeper. Avalon came in handy on more than a few occasions.[/i3wx]
[img3wx]http://www.pokecheck.org/i/anim/094.gif[/img3wx]
[url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=39252403wx]"Sadako"[/url3wx]
@Black Sludge
Timid
Levitate
Disable
Substitute
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
[i3wx]Sadly, while Sadako seemed to be in a lot of battles, she rarely got to actually battle. Still, having her in case Inari fell and I needed something to counter Psychic/Dark/Steel Pokemon did prove useful.[/i3wx][/spoiler3wx]
These weren't my only Pokemon, though. The full list of all my Pokemon that were prepared for the various battles can be found [url=http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=box&bid=1&u=harshdrk3wx]here[/url3wx]. And yes, I did maybe obsess a little bit over this, lol. Thankfully, once I got the hang at RNG manipulation, IV breeding became a lot easier, and EV training is SO much easier in Gen V than it was previously. I literally just ran back and forth picking up Wings along the bridge while watching episodes of "Game Grumps" and "West Wing" for a few weeks. My biggest problem with EV training in previous generations was keeping track of how many battles I had done. It required way too much focus. Gen V also made leveling up a lot easier with the Pass Powers and the higher level Elite Four and the scaled EXP.
EDIT: The badges I earned (though not all with the team listed above) were the [b3wx]ION Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Biker Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Redemption Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Dirigible Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Hive Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Empathy Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Stargazer Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Meditation Badge[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Geyser Emblem[/b3wx]. the [b3wx]Rotation Emblem[/b3wx], the [b3wx]Capoeira Emblem[/b3wx], and the [b3wx]Solar Emblem[/b3wx].
