Edit: Also, I am guessing that Firefox will be pure Fire,[s] Chesthair[\s] Chespin will be Grass/Ground, because of his color scheme, and Froakie will be Water/Psychic, because it may just be me over-thinking it, but Froakie looks a bit like a Benjamin Franklin/Old Professor guy (The 2 whites on his face look like glasses pished down to the end of his nose, and the white fluff behind him looks like hair), and since professor people are smart. Smartness has to do with the mind, and the mind is heavily affected by Psychic types, I conclude that he would be part Psychic.

Edit 2: Since this game is only for the 3DS, how is the PPL going to handle this? Because a lot of people still have normal DS/i's, and that would cut off a large chunk of the challengers...

Edit 4: This may be a little early to start talking about, but for the 3rd game, will it be Pokdmon Z? Or is Nintendo gonna throw another BW2 on us ._. Maybe X/Y^2 (X/Y Squared) or just a random Q version >.>

We'll cross the PPL hurdle when we get to it... but I'm guessing we'll probably have to switch over. :/ More and more people will be getting 3DSs by that time anyway... Pokemon will be out, as will Animal Crossing and a bunch of other good games.

I'm guessing (and I think it's a pretty good guess) that based on the trailer they showed, the fox is going to be Fire/Psychic. It used some kind of purple-colored attack in the trailer that looked like Psywave or Confusion or something.

I also can't imagine Chespin being Grass/Ground, because 1. it's been done before, and 2. most ground-types LOOK like they're made of dirt, or sand, or earth in some way, or they're close to the ground (on all fours). If nothing else it looks like more of a Grass/Fighting candidate to me, something like Meinfoo. Then again, it also looks like Dewott, which was single-typed. So who knows?

All I know is I'm super psyched that I'm finally going to get to play the 3D pokemon game I dreamed about when I was 12.

(Also the third game is obviously going to be Pokemon Z, to complete the "third axis" that makes up the three dimensions, which is the link to the 3DS. I doubt they'll do a Black2/White2 thing again for a little while.)
