Favorite Pokemon music?

After going through Black 2 and getting started on the Pokemon World Tournament, I noticed they brought back all the old battle themes for each region's gym leaders / champion. I got curious and started thinking back to what my favorite battle theme was and ended up choosing Cynthia's from DPPt.

Its just so hectic after that quiet build up at the beginning, I love it. Probably beat that gen's Elite Four more than any other to re-battle Cynthia, just for her theme. So I ask you fellow forum-goers, what's your favorite battle theme from any of the games?

Bonus points for an out-of-combat song too. Mine's Route 209, also from DPPt.

Gen I:

[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYSw3QT8ptkasy]Indigo Plateau[/urlasy] - It was a toss-up between this and Cinnabar Mansion (so creepy!) and I could only find a non-echo version of this one. Very cool and very fitting for the location.

Gen II:

[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMzC3RpYHGgasy]Route 42 (among others)[/urlasy] - One of the most upbeat and memorable route themes, at least imo. These were hard because Silver was the first game I played very extensively so everything's nostalgia riddled

Gen III:

Gen V:

Ooh, I never heard the Frontier Battle one before. I really dig it! Another honorable mention for me, as far as city themes go, is Lavender Town. For being spooky and so different from all the other cities.

Gold and Silver has always had my favorite [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_Gi2FoJaowknx]wild battle music[/urlknx], and the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsS28FHAAbAknx]HeartGold/SoulSilver version[/urlknx] is a pretty great upgrade to it. I really like [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K4_aSOexfUknx]Black/White's Gym Leader Theme[/urlknx] too. One of my favorites in a long time for Gym Leader music. =3

I, sadly, don't remember my time with 1st through 3rd generations enough to pick out my favorite themes, but here's mine from 4th and 5th:

#1 favorite from 4th gen is [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjOQtxvhUnM3yq]Team Galactic Battle[/url3yq]. I used to have that generation's gym leader theme as my favorite, at least until 5th, but the battle theme for Team Galactic still stands out for me. My favorite songs from video games have by default been ones that accurately fit where in the game they're put, and Galactic's theme fits their unabashedly evil plots and designs in that generation, what with Cyrus trying to remake the world in his image and all that.

From 5th gen, there are a few: Team Plasma Battle was already brought up, and is on my list as well, but mine also includes the battle themes for the gym leaders and your rival in B2W2, Hugh. 5th's [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K4_aSOexfU3yq]Gym Leader Battle[/url3yq] theme has always seemed to bring to mind the image of pitting yourself against a great challenge, and [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=IsUgt0MNmP4#t=45s3yq]Hugh's battle theme[/url3yq] fits his personality well: Rash, unapologetic, and always looking to show off his strength.

EDIT: Links ahoy! Also, "[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fWA_SX3Eaw3yq]Victory Is Right Before Your Eyes![/url3yq]" from 5th earns honorable mention. Much like how I like the gym leader theme for conveying a great challenge, this one conveys triumph over the challenge.
