Concert on Sat night

Even though I've been to Prime three years now, I've never actually been to one of the concerts. I really want to change that this year and will try to get into the one on Saturday night. Anyone else planning on going to this? I need to convince my roomie to come with, but I always believe in the more the merrier.

Concerts can be a little hit and miss depending on the kinds of music you like. PAX does try to give a variety each night though. Personally, I've been to every concert since '05 (was too young to stay that late '04) and usually enjoy most groups. Not a big fan of the rappers though... but hey, if you don't enjoy it, pull out your DS!

You've already picked out a night I see, but a good idea might be to Youtube the groups playing and make sure you can at least sit through each of them? Or if you can't figure out a good time to leave.

I'm planning to go both Friday and Saturday. I loved Protomen at Prime last year and I need to see them again. I'm really looking forward to VGO Saturday too. Just remember that the Omegathon (Round 3 I think?) is happening directly before the Saturday concerts in the same hall.

I'm not sure if they are going to force everyone to empty out after the Omega Round or allow you to stay seated. I highly suggest looking into that if you want to be sure you get seats.

Last year the seats for the Omegathon and the concert were far in the back, and they did not empty out between the Omegathon and the concert. The entire front of the room was reserved for standing space. Not sure how the new area will be set up.
