Pokemon Crossover Video Game

Was fun, now that first/main story is beaten is starting to get a little repetitive. Starting from low link levels each time is a bit of a pain, Dragon Rage is silly in low levels, evolving Pokemon/Warlords seems like it would take forever. I almost want to start one of the "conquer-the-map" chapters and just grind everything out there so that everything else becomes that much easier. Still a fun game though.

The main storyline was a blast to play, and was a great transition back in to pokemon from fire emblem for me. Now that i'm in the postgame though, i've sort of lost interest. I had built up a powerful team (i was at something like 2700 when i took on Noabunga, accidentally overgrinded for him) and I was getting attached to my main character, and now with the postgame it's all gone and reset and vanished. One of the biggest parts of pokemon is the bonds you form with your team, and i feel like this didn't stay true to that with the postgame scenarios. I suppose it's a great way to pass the time for long trips, but honestly i don't see much replay value in the postgame material.

Don't know how much of this will be old news for you, but as soon as you beat the 32 episodes the last one has you play as the MC again and go through that story, but on hard mode. Link percent is the only thing that won't carry between episodes, any evolutions or Pokemon recruited should stay. Yes, it's a bit weird to have to "start over" each time, but some of them are so short already have 100% link-mon would make a sort of easy game into a very easy game. I do wish you could grind a little bit faster without having to fend off invasions, they usually tend to invade on maps I hate playing on *coughIllusioSpectracough*

Nice. I love tactics games, so this seems like a slam dunk. Had no idea it was out already! Will be heading to local game store soon.

I had no idea there was a hardmode in the postgame. Is it just another episode though? I don't want to go through it when it's available and then not be able to go and do more chapters if i get tired or want a break.
