Gen III was a fun time, and certainly had a lot of Pokemon I hold a soft spot for so it is hard for me to definitively give just one. That said: Flygon, Absol, Latios and Zangoose were all big favorites of mine, with Torchic finishing close behind.

Skarmory!!! I had one that won all of the Cool competitions in Emerald, then I transferred him into Gen. IV, where proceded to win all of the Cool competitions again, got the footstep medal, and the 3 premium medals you buy for large sums of money... He had a lot of medals...
