Anyone go to the DKA pre-release? I went on Saturday with a ton of people from my school and got face stomped. First time I ever did a sealed draft before. My friend and I after took part in a two-headed giant tournament and won first place in that, and he pulled a Sorin from his winning packs... fucker.

I have one better.

Last Friday, I was at Ye Olde Card Shoppe doing an Innistrad draft, which was actually the first time I had decided to play Innistrad in any sort of competitive sense. Did horribly in the draft and placed last out of 13 or so, but still got 2 packs for participation.

Second pack had Runechanter's Pike & Garruk Relentless.

Garruk is soooo good! And in Innistard the two rares that I always seem to get are Back to the Brink and Creepy Doll (one is even shiny). I've got at least 4 of each.

So will this still be a thing?
I've just checked TJ's list of events on the PAX forums and the noon sealed sounds delicious. I'd love to know if the sealed for this group is still going, so that I may budget time appropriately.

If we can get a guaranteed list of people for this draft, as in, who would be interested, I can get the boxes the week before PAX. As long as everyone pays me for the packs as soon as we do the draft, because that would be my money for food and the hotel I'm spending, lol =) We can get two boxes, I would prefer them to be in current standard, but if other people wanna do something special, that's fine within decent monetary reason. Also, I'd need to get feedback as to whether we would want to do Draft or Sealed format ( I personally prefer Sealed for groups under 24 people). And, of course, what time works best will be dependent on what the list of events at PAX says. I'll check the dates and times tomorrow, and if you could all let me know when you guys and girls are free, I'll do my best to make it work.

Yeah, anyone who reads this, tell your friends who were interested to comment if they're still interested, what boxes they want, and draft or sealed, and as long as it's within the next two weeks, I'll order the boxes from the Connecticon Members Shop.
