PAX Pokemon League

Hokay, so, I know that Excadrill is currently in vogue with his Sand Rush ability. However, as this is the PPL, I'm not supposed to use a Sand Rush Excadrill in conjunction with a Sand Stream anything, which I understand completely. This got me thinking. Excadrill can also have Sand Force. I think this might make Excadrill into an unexpected defensive pivot due to his type coverage, or possibly a slow, but rock hard, heavy hitter. Any thoughts? Ideas?

I actually prefer my Sand Force Excadrill. Sure, they aren't as fast. But man do they pack a mean punch. It is especially nice in double battles, as it boosts Rock Slide and Earthquake like nothing else. If you can bulk up your Excadrill to ensure it isn't killed too easily, you can pull of some nasty OHK with just these two moves. For funsies I also have Poison Jab and Brick Break on my Excadrill.

Excadrill is by far one of my best Pokemon from my initial team run through, even without training and what not. She is a power house with Sand Force.

Sand + Durant + Agility + Baton Pass + Sand Force Excadrill = Profit

I've run a defensive drill, and they're awesome. unexpected, surprisingly bulky, and with sand force its fine you didn't spec into attack!
