Need Teambuilding advice for a gen 5 team

Hi there, The Name's Andounuts! I'm hoping to be one of the gym leaders for this year's PPL online in the guise of the studious historian, Cedric.
But to do that, I need a team. And I have nod idea where to get started. All I know myself is as a historian, Cedric will run a distinctly old-school type team, built to the standards of smogon's gen 5 OU guidlines. So if anyone's got any fun ideas for strategies and 'mon I could play around with, let me know!
