PAX Pokemon League

I haven't played Pokemon in a long time, and I have a bad habit of stalling in the middle and just enjoying the game, this time, I aimed to get all my badges, but it'll be the first time in a long time I've gotten a game to that point.

I'm playing X version, and I'm excited. While I think I have a good team already, I would love to just train a new set and go from there.

What have other people done?

I have stuck to my in-game team for the first run through of the elite four then I train a competitive team and run them through the elite four for leveling up lower level Pokemon that I might be training up as well.

Hmm so maybe the team I was going to use for competitive is what I should use?

In my experience with the 6th gen games, you're usually pretty good with whatever team you've been using through your story playthrough for the Elite Four. The Exp. Share makes leveling much easier, getting rid of the need to grind for levels. As long as it's a diverse team, you should be able to handle what the E4/Champ throw at you.
