PAX Pokemon League

Hey guys!
So aside from our shared interest in all things Pokemon, what else do you guys like to do?

I'm a student at Wesleyan University, I enjoy anime, writing and butt-kicking.
I also like long walks on the beach, and getting caught in the rain.

I partake in (not to be confused with "good at") a number of games most significantly pokemon, minecraft, and other online games. If anyone has a game they want to play, I am more than willing to give it a try

Welp, I'm a big cosplayer, anime fan, video game guy. The big ones being WoW (I love that new expansion smell), Pokemon (obviously), Halo, Rock Band and various others.

On the cosplay side, my non-Pokemon ones are my Ouran High School uniform (now with Tamaki wig~), my ninja costume, working on a Zexion (Kingdom Hearts) and Guy Cecil (Tales of the Abyss), with plans for my main in WoW later on. And with cosplaying comes the various cons. I've been to an absurd amount, judging by my lanyard collection. I'm planning on hitting up NYCC this year, a Vermont based anime one called Bakuretsucon, PAX East, and AnimeNext.

Oh, and I'm a skinny dorky college student who also works shifts as a security guard in Atlantic City, somehow. I don't get it either.

I'm a big cosplayer, I have a cosplay queue of about 2-3 years and it keeps getting longer.

I like anime (current favorites, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, Gakuen Alice, Katekyo Hitman Reborn), video games (favorites: Portal 2, Bioshock (1+2), Binding of Isaac, Pokemon (all of them)), acting, singing, drawings, working on cosplays, and uh yeah. Also I'm an all around cartoon person, anime or american.
I enjoy taking walks in the rain. I go to UMASS AMherst so if anyone else is in the area we should hang. Though I live closer to boston when not at school.

and um, yeah. My conventions for this year are PAX East, Anime Boston (hopefully in artist alley), Connecticon (If I'm lucky, I currently have a conflicting trip that I'm trying to talk about with my parents), and AAC (This is this month).

This is also in spurts, so I may reblog a lot of homestuck at one time or a lot of doctor who at one time. Depends on whats currently on my dash.

As is the current trend, I also love to cosplay. This past September at Dragon*Con I dressed up as Holo from Spice and Wolf, Chrysalis from MLP:FIM, and my sith lord. I'm also working on a Mandalorian costume for the Mandalorian Mercs club. The conventions I'm planning on for the remainder of the year are Megafest and RI ComicCon.

I'm partial to table top role playing (D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder) and video games (particularly Pokemon and anything by Bioware).
I graduated from Georgia Tech last year, and moved up to RI for work; I do design engineering for medical devices.

I don't have a tumbler, but my fiance does. (advancementbycharacterclass.tumblr.com) He's tracking his fitocracy progress by drawing himself leveling up as an rpg character. I think its neat.

I am a full time illustration whore, culinary explorer and scenery porn addict (work on it gomens). Also a reluctant part time preschool teacher. Videogames are pretty fun but when you don't have a tv or a pc DnD remains the best option. Also gratuitous animes and tv shows.

Well, aside from the obvious Pokemon-related stuff, I'm into video games in general. Madden is my main game of choice right now along with City of Heroes (quite sad to see it coming to an end). I also play the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG and some sports when time allows (huge sports fan, football season is my time).

Aside from all of that, I also just launched a website last month aimed at gamers for which I write blogs and produce podcasts (I believe I'll be doing a Pokemon-related one this Friday). There's also a forum for people to hang out and discuss games. One of the goals of the site is to create some organized play groups for various games (and yes, Pokemon is one I'm working on).
