Game of Thrones

Any other fans of the books / TV series? I've been a huge lover of the books for years, and was totally psyched when the TV show debuted. The first season was incredible, and the second season is shaping up to be even better. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good fantasy series / TV show to get into.

Caught the tail end of the first season, went back and watched the entire series in two very awesome marathons.
After that I got into the books, went through 1-3 in about 4 weeks, and I've currently stalled on the 4th book. SO BORING! D: Probably going to take it along and just power through it on the next long trip I take.

Yeah I read these books, and I also had a lot of trouble getting through the 4th book, especially considering how I couldn't put down the first 3. The fourth book just focused on all of the characters I didn't care about save one or two.

I've read up to the 3rd book (the others are currently sitting on my table...guilting me...), and I saw the premiere of the first season on HBO. It looked promising, but I haven't yet invested the time to get caught up (and with the comments about the 4th book I'm wondering if I should bother just yet)-Dr Who and a few other series take priority.
That being said, I completely forgot about Viserys! Total creep! Was very surprised to see him in the premiere, and it only enforced my opinion of his creeper-ness.

Dispite owning the first 3 books, I've only read the first one. But I really liked what I read and extremely enjoyed the first season. I buckled down and went thought what's been released of Season 2 this week and I simply can't wait for more. I think they've done an excellent job on the show and will continue to do so.
