PAX Pokemon League

Hey everybody!
I just got back from the Pokemon Spring Championships Qualifier in Philly. I placed 38 out of 116 (Green/Yellow Side) with a win-lose of 4-3 with an opponent victory ratio of 59%, but I only really only got that far out of luck!
Did anyone else join in for the Spring Qualifier? How did you fare? Any good stories?

I actually saw one challenger from PAX East 2012 there, and we ended up competing against one another!

Justice, I just discovered that the official format of VGC events is Double Battles. Was this the case in Philly? I'm actually a little disappointed, as I was planning on entering some official events in the future, but I really hate double (and triple) battles.

I for one, welcome our double battle overlords!

I think its a very fun format that lets you use pokemon you otherwise wouldn't! amoonguss in singles? ppphhhbbbttttt. in doubles? A GOD.
