anyone here familiar with the Nuzlocke Challenge?

thought this might be a fun place to discuss grinding, fallen bros and comics and such

O.o My first Nuzlocke, I found a shiny. It was a sad day in pokedom, and I think I left it to stay in the PC for fear of having it 'die'. (This was on Emerald I believe).

I'm going to be doing one in Emerald soon. Maybe being forced to love my Pokemon will make me like gen 3...

I have been considering doing this with my Soul Silver! I've never done the challenge before...

I like reading about them. I just wish pokemon had multiple save files, then I'd feel better about doing one. I'm always reluctant to delete my game....

I'm too much of a collector. Nuzlockes go against my natural instinct. Really, though, I think I'd only want to do one if I was a good enough artist to chronicle it.

I'm on my first one now, running through emerald.

Thought I was going to have a death when Roxanne's Nosepass used Block on my poochyena, but we managed to sand attack her and howl up for the KO.

my heart dropped when I saw "___cannot escape" appear.

Nuzlocke just doesn't jive with my playstyle. The same thing will happen as the first time I jumped on a "you can actually die" server in Diablo; I'll just level the bajeezus out of my characters until death completely isn't a possibility.
