Pokemon Day at Gamestop. Who's going?

I might go for the heck of it just to see what all is going on and talk Pokemon with fellow fans.

I went yesterday morning and luckily managed to snag a Mew code (I thought I'd already missed my opportunity since the window was only supposed to be 2/1-2/24). Super grateful!

The guy who came in after me was super excitedly wishing everyone a Happy Pokémon Day; it was a lot of fun to see other people having just as much fun as I was, haha.

I stopped by the GameStop down the street Saturday. Sadly, they had run out of Mew codes earlier in the day (while I was at work). There was one guy there waxing poetically about his love for Chikorita and asking where in the new games he can get one. He was rather miffed that you had to wait so late in ORAS to get "such an amazing pokemon."

If the hubby wasn't there and the guy had a current gen game, I would have totally offered to breed him one right there.

I ran from my house to my gamestop in 10 minutes. Full on sprint.
The employees at my town's location are super nice, we chatted about mons for a decent hour lol. Good times.
