The hard part here is determining how many HMs I'd need to account for? I'm one of those guys who sees their ingame team as 4-5 pokes with 1-2 HM slaves.

My main six? That's really hard for me to choose. I have like, 60 Pokemon that I regularly use.
I'll exclude the Eeveelutions to keep my list from being completely filled with them.

1-Gardevoir
One of my two all time favorite Pokemon, and my signature mon. Gardevoir has been a staple of my team since Emerald version.
2-Blaziken
My other all time favorite Pokemon, and signature mon as well. Blaziken has been on my team ever since Ruby version.
3-Mawile
It's an adorable little steel type Pokemon! How can you say no to that cute face it has? Just beware the cool looking jaw/horn things that it has.
4-Absol
Unlike the others I prefer Absol's standard form over its mega, but both designs are pretty cool. My Absol is shiny as well, which is nice since it has one of the better looking shinies in my opinion.
5-Lilligant
The graceful, yet deadly dancer Lilligant. She dances to the beat of her own tempo, but has wonderful dances nonetheless. Plus she has a nice flower on her head that looks like a hat.
6-Misdreavus
A mischievous ghost type? If humans become ghost Pokemon when they die then I'll enjoy the afterlife messing around as this little Pokemon.

As for the legendary I'd hunt either Latios so I can fly through the sky on him, or Melloetta for reasons similar to Lilligant.

I suppose from that list it isn't hard to tell what my favorite generation is, is it?
