Just got it without any backdoors, and first non-starter is Zubat. It can only get better.

That is indeed a good question, gonna have to weigh that one as I go.

I'm super stoked though, not just because Go has been pretty neat so far, but also that my first non starter capture was my favorite Pokemon: Eevee!

...which, in all likelihood, my luck is now gone for a long period of time.

Ah well, still have an Eevee!

Almost every Poke Stop and Gym are locations in Ingress, so if you play that, then you're likely to find both kinds of players at the landmarks.
