Now see? I was at Gamestop this weekend and I was told Celebi would be coming out on the 6th. Eh, I'll get it then anyways since that's when I'll be picking up my copy of White.

I am so excited about this. Celebi is one of the few legendaries I really like but I have never owned one. I'll be going by gamestop tomorrow to grab mine.

Nope, as long as the Gamestop has their cart transmitting you will be able to get it.

Do we know if this (Celebi) is going to be available over Wi-Fi after the Gamestop giveaway ends like the Johto trio was?

Except the wifi gerbils were meant as a UK event, but because it's wifi, any English (American, Australian, European) cart can download them.

Europe is having a mall tour just like America, however their only method of releasing the gerbils was through wifi, no GAME events. (GAME = Gamestop). So while it is still possible that because US had two ways of getting Celebi (Tour and Gamestop) Europe will as well (Tour and wifi) I wouldn't bank on it.

I don't want to encourage piracy, but a friend of mine told me he can download the ROMs of the event pokemon cartidges. Essentially, he can act as a Gamestop hotspot. I wouldn't really care, except that the Dogs are about my favorite trio, and I have no transportation from my dorm to Gamestop outside of my dear old grandmother. While she likes spending time with me, I doubt she would have enjoyed driving out to the campus, back to the Gamestop near her house, and then back to the campus (and back home by herself) every weekend for the past month. Instead, I'll just get my friend to download me some Dogs. Celebi's a different story, though. I'll be in Gamestop on the sixth, [isay]no matter what earthly force tries to stop me[/isay], so I'll pick up Black and two Celebi then.

and no, I don't encourage hacking or cheating, but if something is tour specific and the tour comes nowhere near you, I understand.
