A thread for funsies. What Pokemon are you all using for your Battle Maison / Online matches or general post-game stuff? Or hey, if you haven't beaten the game yet, what 'mons have you been using in leveling?

Cyrus the Cloyster w/ Skill Link & Lum Berry (Has saved him many times from burn and sleep)
running a standard Shell Smash set with Rock Blast and Icicle Spear

Gailardia the Gallade w/ Steadfast & Black Belt (Probably should get a better item for him)

Chantelise the Volcarona w/ Flame Body & Chesto Berry
-Fiery Dance
-Quiver Dance
-Rest
-Struggle Bug, which got a boost in power this gen from 20 to 50. Its guarenteed sp. attack reduction helps her massive special defense.

Spooks the Gourgeist w/ Frisk & Leftovers

The sixth 'mon I'm keeping a secret as its being used in my leader team. Spooks needs the most work, but I'd hate to lose Flame Charge and he has been super valuable as a stall. All in all, they've been pretty dangerous online, moreso than I would've guessed! How about the rest of you? How've your teams been faring?

I don't have any particular held items on anyone yet but for battles I've been using...

Tyrantrum, my Stealth Rocker. Named him Buri, for the Norse god of Pre-History. He comes packed with Rock Slide, Earthquake and Dragon Claw. I've been wanting to swap out his moves for some that would take better advantage of his ability but I've had other priorities.

Luna, my Espeon. No Hidden Ability, got her on Route 10 (first Eevee I found there). She's got... Swift, Morning Sun, Psychic and Dazzling Gleam

Timid Alakazam I got from a friend who is a beast. He doesn't need to use his Alakazite against NPCs. He's given other teams a hard time as well. He has Hidden Power (Electric), Psyshock, Dazzling Gleam, and Calm Mind.

You better watch out for Ceara, my Chandelure, and her hex set! Will-O-Wisp/Hex has taken down the unwary Xerneas! She's also got Psychic and Flame Burst on her.

Justice, the Lucario I recieved as part of the story. Had Lucarionite on him before I got Alakazam. He has Swords Dance, Power-Up Punch, Extreme Speed and Bone Rush for the time being.

The Lovely Lily. I brought this Lapras straight into my party and she hasn't left since. She is a bit of an HM slave with Surf/Waterfall but I switch her in on an unsuspecting water type and she Thunderbolts em down shortly after they realize she absorbed the water attack meant for Chandelure. She's tanky now but I'm going to reset/properly EV train her very soon.


Although I don't use them very often anymore I will give these three members of my story team honorable mention ...

How is Tyrantrum? I've been eyeing him for a little while, but from what I can tell, he's super slow and not particularly bulky.

He's been a good lead for me. He took a rather large chunk out of a Klefki's HP with Earthquake... and then he was promptly one shot by an Excadrill....
If you plug TK2W-WWWW-WWW3-47DZ into your Vs Recorder you can watch him do it and challenge him yourself. Gave that code to a friend who went at my team with his non-ev trained story team and he didn't make it past Tyrantrum.

Wow, he did a massive chunk even with reflect up. Would've one-shot for sure otherwise. I can dig it.

I didn't know you could mock battle from the recordings though, that's super cool!~

Aye, the mock battles are a cool new feature. I think they've improved the Vs. Recorder quite a bit. I do enjoy saving multiple battle videos.
