PAX Pokemon League

So we've got less than a week until X and Y are out.

How you guys holding up with the hype? Any special plans to burn time as we wind down to release?

And more importantly, what starters are ya'll choosing? I decided on Chespin. That face is completely irresistable. Also I can't unsee this.

I've been playing [i071]Rune Factory 4[/i071] to try and make the waiting less excruciating, but it's just not helping. I'm dying to actually see X // Y in motion aside from the demos that they have released and I can't wait to start raising my Froakie. It's a shame we can't import our old Pokémon until December though...

I've been playing my emerald version a lot recently, My goal is to finish it before X and Y come out. I'm getting X and I'm going to explode from all this excitement.

Well, it seems that every time a game I really really want comes close to launching, my brain sees fit to remind me every few minutes how long I'd have to wait to play said game, and that generally makes the last few days insufferable.

But now that you mention it, I've got Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World sitting on my games shelf giving me that "you [bbzn][ibzn]still[/ibzn][/bbzn] haven't finished me" look. So I think I'll use that to distract my mind from doing its whole "Hey...whatcha doing? Trying to forget that we have to wait 5 days...? Isn't that soooo far away?" thing.

As for my starter...ho boy...I'm still torn between Fennekin and Froakie. I fear it may come down to a coin toss at launch.

I'm trying to get as much of my Gen 5 pokedex complete as possible before I get distracted by the new game. Less than a week until X and Y and I've got 30ish pokemon to go!

I'm pretty sure I'm taking Froakie as my starter.

Team Fennekin here! I'm killing time breeding pokemon trying to collect a few shiny pokes.

I've been trying my hardest to stay as spoiler free as possible. I've been on Pokemon news blackout ever since E3. I just want the games to be out now, having everyone I know freaking out over all the new things they keep seeing without being able to know what they are is getting really obnoxious. XP

Starter though? Froakie all the way.

Eh, I'm not really excited at all.

A) I don't think they can top the B2/W2 experience.

B) None of the new pokemon or features are particularly interesting prior to playing it. (Heck I'm till not sold on some of the pokemon from every gen since 2 on)

C) I'm only getting it because it's being gifted to me.

Hype is overrated anyway. It's almost in the definition.

I'm really excited for X and Y. I still need to actually decide on which version I'm going with. I'm leaning more towards Y at the moment because I like Skrelp a lot. As for the starter? I'm definitely going with Chespin. I love the overall design of Chespin and I'm always partial towards the Grass starters.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME. I just wished Froakie evolved into water/fighting instead of water/dark.

There's a panda that's a fighting type. Cant' wait to get my hands on it. Playing battle subway nonstop and hoping Mega-evolutions aren't extremely game breaking.
