PAX Pokemon League

Hello all. I've been trying to figure out how to coordinate a 30-trainer Funfest mission at PAX Prime, as when X and Y come out, it's highly unlikely that we'll be able to get that medal anymore. I've talked to several PPL leaders (Gym and E6) and they are open to the idea if it can get coordinated. I've sent a post on the twitter, and I just got this account approved, so is there a time when we can get 30 Pokemon players together, not battling, to participate in a throwaway funfest mission? (Additionally, what's the first funfest mission that one can perform with 30+ people?)

Terribly. Couldn't get together the 30 people needed to all join in on a FunFest mission together. Most didn't care, some didn't have Black 2/White 2, and as a whole there wasn't enough organization to make it work. Some of the scarfed PPL leaders were really friendly and helpful, and I appreciate all that they did. But it felt like there just wasn't much coordination going on, and there wasn't anyone really running the show, which made it difficult to try to get someone to help coordinate this attempt.

I'm really sorry we couldn't get our act together to give this a fair shot. If you want to try and give it another shot before next year and your local you could try coming to the University of Washington pokemon club. They are the only local group that I know that could get that high of a number.

I appreciate that. Only problem is, I'm out in NYC. I'll see if I can get the local Pokemon group to do it, but like the above, it's tricky. I also wouldn't mind helping to coordinate it for future PAXes, as I doubt I'm the only one who wants to get every medal, even well after the fact.

I know we tried to do this at East too with no success. It's so hard to get 30 people to do one thing at the same time at PAX, given how frantic it is. What you really need is a captive audience... like a Pokemon club. Or maybe on the PAX train? I dunno.

I spoke to you multiple times and I was really riding on there being at least 30 people for the tournament to just get it done there since everyone was idling before hearing match ups. It only ended up being 24, and this along with a lot of other things were lacking in coordination and I deeply apologize on behalf of the league and everyone else there for not making it happen.
