PAX Prime 2013 tickets

So, thanks to my college classes and clubs, I completely missed the purchase window for Prime 2013 passes. Looks like I'm not going this year unless I want to pay a scalper three times as much

Anyone else caught out in the cold, so to speak?

I barely mangers to get a Monday pass, for almost the same reason as you-stupid school. They chose a terrible time, especially for west-coasters like me, and the west coast is where Prime is held!

I am probably going to buy tickets online, but to prevent paying the ridiculous 200+ fee, I have to wait. According to the PA forum people, right now, the reason that they are so high is because everyone who didn't get a pass is going "OH NO, I DIDN'T GET A PASS, I MIGHT MISS IT!!!! Oh, a 200 dollar pass on ebay? It might be expensive but I REALLY WANNA GOOOOO!!!" So then they to ahead and buy them. The thing that all the PA people said to do though, if you are buying on eBay is to wait. Wait at least a month. Try to wait until the passes have been shipped out. That way, you can have a little bit more assurance about the passes being real, and beacause the mad ticket-get blitz is over, people will be sellin them for aroun 1.35-2x face value (30$ for a day at face value), which may be a little bit exuberantl, but is MUCH better than $200.

I plan on buying only Friday, and MAYBE Saturday passes online, and just try and buy a Sunday pass at the door.

PS- I'd you are buying at the door, request that whoever you are buying with come up to the info desk and have them verit that the pass is legit. If they say no, than either they know that they are selling fake passes, or are too lazy to walk, if the second one is true, call an enforcer over to have them check, and if they still reluctant, you know that they have a fake pass, so just go report them to an enforcer.

I got lucky, my brother told me about the tickets at about 11am, but I was in the middle of class. So when it ended at 11:20 I ran straight for a computer in the campus's game room. Thankfully they don't enforce their 30 min time limit. I was able to get all my passes just before they started to sell out. If I went home I woud've been too late.
