Boston/New England Area Meet-Up

My friend asked me if there's a rain date for this, as there is a chance of rain/snow in the forecast for Saturday.

Or, do we have an alternate indoor location?

You mean the Prudential food court. (There's not one in the Hynes, and you can only get in the Hynes if you are going to a con there or work there)

That would be the Prudential, yes. And I'd dare say that should be the primary place to go in any case, since there [i2uf]are[/i2uf] benches, a food court, a Gamestop, and a candy store (okay, the candy isn't as relevant, but still's good fun). Walking there from the Common wouldn't be too bad on a good day, but if it's going to Rain Down Upon Us From The Heavens, I vote bypassing the Common completely in favor of the Pru. As for an easy place to meet there, theres all sorts of benches/seating across from the Barnes and Noble (that entire section of hall in fact). To get there there's a green line T-stop in the basement (E-line; Heath Street), and it goes up the escalator to the section of hall I just mentioned (so less chance to become woefully lost). And other than the wait for an E train, its a mere 5-10min to get there from Park Street (cross from red line to green line).

If anyone wants further directions, etc., feel free to ask as my campus is literally down the street.

As of now, the forecast for Saturday is not looking good. Mid-to upper 30s with a 70% chance of rain/snow. I'm going to throw it out there that we should go with Shade's suggestion and make that the meet-up point. Any objections? If not, I'll update the OP with the new location tonight.

I have Twitter, but have never tweeted. I am tweetless. If enough people can take advantage of this, I think it's a great idea to use it to keep track of where we are in case someone can't find us for some reason.
