Anyone play Magic?

After swearing off CCGs when I stopped with Pokemon years ago, I've recently taken the plunge into Magic. I've only been playing for about 3 weeks now with the current block (Innistrad) but I already want to buy ALL the cards. My Green-White deck is coming together nicely now

Just wanted to know if anyone here plays, and if they'll be bringing their cards to PAX with them. The second block of Innistand, Dark Ascension, comes out in February so there will be two months to buy EVEN MORE CARDS to play before PAX.

XD I'm currently sitting on a box of Innistrad for a BDay draft or two. I've been playing since Shards of Alara (came out in...'08? *feels old*). I don't think I'll be bringing any decks with me to PAX, but I might jump in on an hourly draft. The metagame is ridiculously focused in magic, and seeing as college has quite the mishmash of players (from current to just jumped back in) it's more fun to play for fun than standard/type 2.
That being said, my black vampires and red werewolves are coming along nicely :3

Lately, I've been trying not to buy as many cards as I've been known to, but I still do have a couple of nice decks that I'd be bringing with me to PAX Prime 2012. Sadly, I've seen very little of Innistrad (and New Phyrexia too ) but I might pick up some of the new block eventually.

Not to try to derail the subject, but I've also started myself on Legend of the Five Rings and I'll probably bring that deck with me as well.

I was completely unaware that they did drafts at PAX!!! That's fantastic, because Dark Ascension should be out by then. I'm trying this Christmas to crack open a Sword of Feast and Famine so that I can complete my Standard Wolf Ramp deck and win lots of things. With Avabruck and the Sword boosting my big wolves, and Kessig Wolf Run giving my large guys trample for tapping everything, I can push my damage through, SoFF can untap my lands for me, and I can play all my stuff in MP2. Gonna be sweet! Yeah, if anyone is bringing decks down, I'll have Standard, EDH, and casual decks on hand.

...Maybe someone can play against my Legacy Goat Beatdown Deck....

*Edit*- I prefer drafting to standard because I enjoy playing card types and color combinations I haven't played yet within a set, and the random assortment of drafts usually grant me that luxury. It's how I fell in love with Innistrad Wolves and Zombies
