I'm interested in this, but have no idea how it works (never had anyone to really play with). Can I join the group now, over Wi-Fi, or is this something that will be done at PAX?

it'll be done at PAX. here is what you do.

1. Find someone who is in the group (at this point, heleor)
2. Go to the wireless union room and mix records
3. go to violet city and talk to the guy in the pokemon school on the far right
4. Tell him you want to join a group, and then join PPL

I've also never done this before but mixing records can be done over Wi-Fi as well can't it?
